Job Description: The Senior Manager/ Director, Search Marketing will lead a team focused on managing search campaigns on behalf of Vebsite’s clients. Additionally, the Senior Manager/ Director will set-up, create and execute online ad campaigns on behalf of assigned clients to achieve stated goals and objectives. This position requires a candidate that excels in management, client service, and analytics. The right candidate must be enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and a hardworking professional able to work well in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.

Manage a team of account managers and content editors to execute on campaign objectives for clients.
Serve as team expert for search engine marketing, Vebsite’s tools and technology, account management, editorial processes and analytics.
Manage a book of business consisting of assigned clients’ online search marketing campaigns.
Create and implement custom search marketing solutions for assigned clients.
Responsible for analyzing, recommending and implementing improvements to meet client online search marketing ROI/CPA objectives.
Overall management of clients online search marketing campaigns, including paid search, content, local, paid inclusion, etc.
Understand and manage client's media buying cycles, product/service update schedules, online marketing philosophy and goals, target demographics, etc.
Produce detailed campaign performance analysis and PowerPoint presentations.
Act as the client champion and agency representative to the search engines and ensure optimal campaign implementation.
Regular face-to-face client visits to build and maintain deep-level partnerships.
Recruiting, hiring and training of new hires.
Represent their team on cross functional projects
Responsible for special projects as assigned.

At least four years of online marketing experience.
Account management/ client services experience.
At least two year managing a fast-paced, quality-focused client services department.
Proven history of managing a team to successfully attain or exceed aggressive goals.
Outstanding leadership skills, including lead by example management style.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA a plus.
Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
Strong analytical experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Professional demeanor.

The Senior Manager/ Director should possess process management and multitasking abilities. He/she should be a team player, with creativity and a can-do attitude. The Senior Manager should have the ability to instill high morale, function equally well independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to adapt to a changing environment.

The SEM Creative Editor is responsible for writing online ads for top companies as they relate to specific keywords on which people are searching. With the ablilty to see ongoing metrics on how ads are working, the creative editor is responsible for testing new ad copy and getting key messages to the right audience through creative optimization. The creative editor will also be in charge of keyword development and keyword organization as it relates to the structure for presenting clients ads online.

Bachelors in English, Journalism, or Communications preferred.
Proven writing and communication excellence. Editorial and/or marketing experience in an online, magazine, book or other publishing environment is a plus.
1+ years Search Engine Marketing a plus but not required.
2 years of online marketing and/or journalism experience a plus.
Great attention to detail.
Intuitive/creative thinker.
Outstanding computer skills, computer savviness, including solid knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability to a changing environment quickly and easily.
